How It Began
Dustan and Darlene first preached the Gospel in India in 2008. They traveled from village to village, preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick. Over and over they saw what an Indian village looks like without a strong church. Demonic possessions, numerous suicides, strange ailments, and immense hopelessness and depression plagued the helpless souls living in these lands with no intercessor. Dustan and Darlene’s first response was to join their friends in planting village churches, as is greatly needed, but the Lord calmed them and spoke a word to their heart:
“If you focus on one or two villages you will only help one or two. There are thousands of these throughout India. Each is special to me. Rather, focus on planting a training and sending church, with the ability to send out new teams of apostolic missionaries to these unreached villages. This way you will make a greater impact, plant more churches, and rescue more souls. By planting one you will effectually plant thousands.”
From there the plans were set.

About India
India has a population of more than 1.2 BILLION people. It is no wonder that it has more unreached people groups that in any other nation of the world. The main religion is Hinduism (80.5%), followed by Islam (13.5%). To many Hindus, Hinduism is both monotheistic and polytheistic at the same time, claiming that there is one God far beyond our understanding that is represented by numerous other smaller gods. To many Hindus, each of these gods represent a different aspect of the God. Some claim the pantheon of Hinduism to number nearly 300 million gods, although there is no official number.

We love India and the Hindu and Muslim people that make up this magnificent land. We see these beliefs as a bridge to share about Jesus Christ, who came as the visible image of the Invisible God, sharing God’s most overwhelming personality trait, LOVE, by taking the punishment for all sin upon Himself. If the Hindu will follow Christ, study and meditate on the life of Christ, they will know the nature of the Great God and be welcomed into His family. The result will be that Christ, who will one day show God’s just side in the day of judgment will allow them to enter into rest and peace, escaping suffering forever.
Our Mission
Our mission is to plant a mission base in India that will have three separate parts, a trinity of the church so to say. The three parts are:
- A church, rich with Biblical teaching, prayer, and worship. This local church must thrive with vision to send Christ to their community and the world. Also, the style of the church must be modern, attempting to steer the emerging culture towards Christ.
- A community outreach center focused on spreading the Gospel and fulfilling the churches responsibility (orphans, widows) in the local community.
- A missionary training center that recruits, trains, and releases missionaries into the harvest fields of India and the surrounding nations. These missionaries will be trained in local mission projects based out of the community outreach center and will serve intensely to purify motive while being filled with the spirit, word, practical training, and vision for the world.
The yearly mission training will be led by Dustan and Darlene and a team of other trusted missionaries and pastors, while the local church will be led by an Indian national of the highest quality and integrity. Over the past three years we have built a strong friendship with a great Indian family, one of which is praying about leading Revolutionary Life Church in India. He is finishing his studies in Canada and will return to India late 2012 or early 2013. Meanwhile , the prep work (prayer, fund raising, and scouting) is being done. The goal is that the mission base open early 2013.
Needs and Budget
Our first year budget is $15,000 as we will be able to rent the facilities until the church grows and stand alone property is needed. Would you consider helping us in this much needed missions work? Would you pray about giving towards reaching the unreached of South India? Also, if you have any questions, feel free to leave it in the comment box below. Thanks!
