Episode #5: “The Rescued” – Thailand & Burma

This week Dustan & Darlene arrive in North Thailand after a very emotional ride from Burma. They are confronted with the choice of going home after Darlene’s grandmother’s passing. So, in order to keep a sober mind, they volunteer at a rescue home, preach at a Burmese refugee camp, and visit a safe home for ex-child soldiers. The result? a fresh new perspective on life.

Here are a few photos from the episode.

Thank you so much for mission in Thailand and Burma. I am from Burma. I came in the United States as a refugee.

I am very great to Americans for giving me to a place to live. Even though i am not U.S citizen, opportunities are pretty much the same.
I didn’t even speak English when the first time i came in the United States; however, i have a chance to learn English and now i am in College which is great chance for me.Thank you God! Thank you America and may God bless America. Thank you God for giving me internal life. I watch JCTV almost every day and hoping that i wouldbe able to help my people who are suffering in Thailand border or in Malaysia if God have plan to help those people. Peter
