Leaving Again

You know when we take that first initial step into the unknown to pursue God’s will for our life there are always testings along the way. However, I think once we pass the first initial test and trials that attack everyone in pursuit of their dreams, we still have to be willing to take the plunge and go even after we’ve slayed Goliath.

You know people often wonder why and how we’re able to do what we do, and our answer is pretty simple. It’s because we love God and we love people. But even now after the first step to start this ministry has been taken, and travel is pretty familiar to us, airports feel like a second home…. we still have to be willing over and over again to count the cost and go. Obeying God isn’t something we do only in the beginning and then graduate to doing our own thing, but rather it’s daily. It never stops. And I realize that even now after doing this solid for 3 1/2 years, God is still a gentleman, not forcing us to go.

Yes, even we we are comfortable at home with our families, but we still go. We leave again in a few weeks, Why? Because obeying and following Christ is never a one time thing. It never stops. His LOVE for the lost doesn’t stop; it isn’t a one time thing that gets out of His system and leaves us alone. It’s everyday.

It is that love that compels us to keep going. His love drives me crazy. It compels me to climb the highest mountain ranges to reach people out of touch with tv, satellite, radios…it compels us to do things we never thought we’d do, or ever thought we could do. But with Christ We CAN, and we do.

It’s that simple.

“Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel!”

“For though I am free from all I have made myself a servant to all that I might win more of them.”

1 Corinthians 9:16,19
